Spending time with family this season, I've noticed how we've all aged another year. Grandparents are moving slower with more assistance required. Parents are greyer. Children are starting their own families. I feel the effects of arthritis, and now have diminished hearing and cataracts.
Yet, I see the mercies of the God we serve and love as a family. I see the legacy of faith being passed on to the next generations. And I have hope and know more fully the truth of of Jehovah's promise:
"I will be the same until your old age, and I will bear you up when you turn gray. I have made you, and I will carry you; I will bear and save you" (Isa.46.4).
